The most significant problem in drinking water networks is leaks. In some settlements, water losses reach 60–70%. Therefore, networks must be modeled to minimize water leaks. It is essential to determine a suitable reservoir location, ensure easy control in the network, detect leaks easily, and avoid long-term water problems in settlements.
